A Little about me
I'm from Inglewood, CA. I enjoy great adventures, dogs, social events, and arts/culture. I am passionate about people living their best lives.

becoming a professional trainer
In college I was apart of the Kinesiology club. I also became a mentor for a program on campus called WellFit. After college I worked at several PT clients were I gained a lot of knowledge on rehab and recovery. Later I interned at Thrive Health Lab, previous known as (Kinetic Studio) and obtained my certification in Personal Training. I am full-time a group fitness instructor and I continue to personal train.

i choose to train at thrive because
I love the Thrive Tribe because it feels like home. It is a very welcoming environment and the team is awesome. It is not your regular gym. We as trainers are not just educated but very versed in physical, mental, and spiritual health.

Bet you didn't know
I love teaching. I also serve as a private tutor and substitute teacher. My favorite subject to teach is math. I enjoy teaching math because most kids hate math. I hated math growing up. It was not until I took on a long-term math position teaching high school algebra 2 and trigonometry that changed my mind. Math became fun, simple, direct. I want kids to feel confident when learning math.

what keeps me motivated on the rough days
God keeps me motived on rough days. My clients also keep me motivated. I first pray about it, then I think about my clients and how I push them to always show up even when you don't feel like it. Those are the days that means the most.

on a rainy day
I enjoy listening to the rain and looking outside my window. I also enjoy staying inside and watching a good movie in bed. I wouldn't mind a cup of hot coco too.
